A trip to all the main villages and the most important monuments of Kos, in our air-conditioned busses is offering the opportunity to explore the island and experience its beauty.
The tour starts from “Asklepion of Kos” the first organised hospital of the world in the ancient years, created by the “father of medicine” Hippocrates and it was dedicated to Asclepius, son of Apollo, protector of health and medicine. The guiding in Asklepion takes about an hour, and the guests have time to admire the nice view and to take some photos. The village of Zia, situated up, in the highest point of the mountain Dikeos will be the next stop right after the Asklepion. In Zia there will be time for a short coffee break or shopping in the small traditional shops and for a walk through the village. The tour continues through Lagoudi, passing the villages Old Pyli and Amaniou, a small stop to the village of Pyli for a visit to the old spring the small shops and a traditional Greek House. On the way to Kefalos we see Antimachia Castle, Plaka, we stop for photos in Kefalos and continue to the restaurant close to the beach for lunch or swimming. The last visit of the tour is a honey workshop where guests will be able to see and learn about the collection and procession of honey from bees. They will have the opportunity to taste some traditional sweet with honey and be able to buy some homemade honey. The tour finishes with the return to the hotel.
